William Fichtner Talks Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and things may not be going as badly as some of you may think. Ok, I feel like it’s safe to say that a majority of you out there have not been super thrilled with the updates you’ve heard so far about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle reboot. And I get it. A lot of you hate Michael Bay, or hated that Megan Fox was going to play April O’Neil, and you hated the way the turtles were looking from the set pics, and who exactly are the actors playing them again? We’ve heard all of your frustrations. But William Fichtner, who plays Shredder in the upcoming film is saying that audience are all going to be blown away by the project and very impressed at how the turtles look on the big screen. He says quote “they are some messed up mutant turtles.” And we’re pretty sure he means that as a compliment. He also says Shredder’s character is going to be a bit different than how many of us know him from the comics, saying that his version will be much darker. He said “how the character has been molded and changed when we started filming has become something really quite remarkable in terms of what we’ve seen before of the character.” Now, if you saw the Lone Ranger, you saw what a great job Fichtner did playing the villain, Butch Cavendish. He was a clear standout in that movie. But do you trust his point of view when it comes to our favorite turtles? And are you willing to give TMNT a shot when it hits theaters on August 8th 2014? Sound off and let us know, and if you need more of your movie fix, head on over to our Facebook and Twitter pages for the latest on all of your favorite movies. From Hollywood, Im Erin White, and Ill see you next time.
